G. E. SEEBER DIES AT PRESTON HOME

Preston, Ia-{Special)

G. E. Seeber, 84, died at his home in Preston Wednesday noon after a lingering illness. Mr. Seeber was born April 14, 1848, in Cortland county, New York, the son of Harriet Seeber. When seven years of age he came with his parents to Iowa, settling in Sabula. Several years ago he moved to a farm in the Bryant community, continuing to live there until the Civil War, later moving back to Sabula.Fifty-four years ago he moved to Vernon Prairie on what is better known as the old Seeber homestead.

Mr. Seeber was married to Sarah Davis on May 20, 1880, and they moved here in 1920. Surviving besides his wife are a brother, Charles of this city. Two sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.
