A RELIGIOUS IS CALLED

Sister Mary DeShontal of Visitation Academy Succumbs to Long Illness

After a lingering illness borne with the Christ-like spirit, which characterizes the Visitation nun, Sister Mary DeShontal, a member of the order, passed peacefully away at the convent on Alta Vista street, Wednesday evening at 9 o'clock.

The dead religious was known to the world as Miss King. She entered the order eighteen years ago and since that time her life has been an inspiration to all who lived within the convent walls. Her example of self-sacrifice and devotion to duty will be reflected in after years in the lives of those over whom she wielded an influence so far reaching.

Sister DeShontal leaves to mourn her devise, her father, one sister and one brother residing in Chicago, besides her sorrow stricken sisters in religion, and the hundreds of former students of the academy in all parts of the country.
