Phillip Clark

Phillip H. Clark, 42, of Maquoketa, died Wednesday morning, Nov. 10, 1999 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12 at Carson & Son Funeral and Cremation Services in Maquoketa officiating.

Visitation was held form noon to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Streets Cemetery, rural Maquoketa at a later date.

Mr. Clark was born April 28, 1957 in Maquoketa to Henry Clark and Helen Manning Clark.

He married Mary K. Burkey on Jan 1, 1975 in Maquoketa. Mr. Clark worked for the former Stckle Feeds, now Food Waste Solutions as a truck driver for many years. He was known as a "shade tree" mechanic and loved traveling.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Kevin (and Chris) Clark of Maquoketa and Jamie (and Carrie) Clark of Wheatland; tow daughters, Teresa (Mrs. Vernis) Orsborn of Maquoketa, Kathy (Mrs. Jeremiah) Maxwell of Zwingle; six brothers, Ezra, Lucky, Marvin and Marty Clark, all of Maquoketa, Randy Clark of Preston and Alvin Clark of Monmouth; three sisters, Carolyn (Mrs. Tim) Mims of Andrew, Marily (Mrs. Jeff) Grekoff of Maquoketa and Ellen Clark of Preston, and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.
