Book CDale L. Clark, 67, of Maquoketa died Dec. 22, 2000 at Finley Hospital in Dubuque.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 26, at the First Baptist Church, Maquoketa. The Rev. Norman Hieman officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation was held from 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the church.
Mr. Clark was born Dec. 23, 1933 in Maquoketa to Walter D. Clark and Irma Manning Clark. He married Honor Schurbon on Dec. 31, 1981 in Maquoketa.
He worked as a truck driver for several trucking firms.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Shelia Stratton of Clinton, Myra Clark of Maquoketa and Cheryl Ann Swadly of Rogers, Ark.; three sons Luvern Clark of Maquoketa, Dale F. Clark of South Dakota and Russell (and Diane) Schurbon of Clorado Springs, Col.; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; four brothers, Robert (and Mary) Clark of Maquoketa, Ronald (and Iva) Clark of Maquoketa, Jerry (JoAnn) Clark of Maquoketa and Elmer (and Mary) of Hazel Green, Wis., and two sisters, Darlene (Mrs. Bill) Benson of Thomson, Ill., and Mona Kay (Mrs. Tom) Christofferson of Camanche.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son in infancy and one brother, Don Clark on Feb. 10, 2000.
Carson & Son Funeral and Cremation Services of Maquoketa handled the funeral arrangements.
