Jackson Sentinel, Feb. 8, 1894

DIED-

CORT-At her home in Zwingle, Thursday Jan. 20 of heart disease, Mrs. Sarah Cort, aged 78 years. The death came sudden and unexpected as it does with this ailment. She retired the night before with no idea that her illness was serious, but dead in her bed next morning. She was a native of Pennsylvania and with her husband, Daniel, had resided many years at Zwingle. She was an estimable lady, a great worker in the German Reformed Church, of which her people were prominent western members. The funeral occurred Friday, Rev. F. C. Bauman officiating.
