Services for Frank Barnes, 79, will be at 1:30 p. m. Sunday at the Carson-Balster funeral home with Rev. Harry D. Green, pastor of the First Methodist church, officiating. Burial will be at the Monmouth Cemetery.
Mr. Barnes was born April 7, 1870, in Calamus, Iowa, son of Edmund and Mary (Teskey) Barnes. His wife, the former Minnie Easton, survives. He was a nursery salesman and member of the Masonic order at Hopkinton.
Surviving besides his wife are one sister, Mrs. Etta Cook, of Lost Nation, three grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons and one brother.
