Bellevue Herald:

Theodore Hoffman, a citizen of Cottonville, and an old resident of Jackson County, came to Bellevue about one week ago and took sick at the residence of J. P. Arensdorf, a friend. He lingered until last Friday when he died, principally of old age. The funeral took place yesterday from the Catholic church in this city, Rev. Father Bies officiating.
