LOTUS SCHWARTZ SERVICES HELD AT MONMOUTH

Brandon, Nov. 17-Mrs. Loren Francis and Mrs. Julius Behnke attended the funeral services for Lotus Schwartz in the Monmouth church in Monmouth Friday afternoon. Burial was in the Monmouth cemetery. Mr. Schwartz was born August 20, 1910 in Iron Hill, the son of Herman and Edna Bickford Schwartz. The family lived for many years in this vicinity on the farm which is now owned by Wilbur Hoelker. Surviving is his wife, Josephine, three sons, Marvin of Denver, Colorado, Lotus, Jr., and Galen; two daughters, Joyce and Kari of Clinton, where their home had been made for the past four years. Also surviving are his parents, one brother, Elvin, all of Anamosa and a sister, Mrs. Bertha Moran of Des Moines.
