FORMER RESIDENT DEAD

Word has been received here advising friends of the death of Richard B. Twiss, son of Deacon and Mrs. J. R. Twiss, pioneers of Jackson and Clinton counties. Mr. Twiss spent his young manhood here and will be remembered by the older residents of our city. He passed away May 7th in Chicago, never recovering from injuries received from a fall about six weeks ago, and was past 82 years of age. He is survived by his wife, one sister, Mrs. Emma Reynolds of Lincoln, Nebraska, two brothers, Myron of California and Edward of British Columbia.
