REV. J. M. LUTE DIES AT ELDON

Rev. John M. Lute, who was pastor of the Free Methodist Church in Maquoketa and Iron Hill for several years, passed away Monday morning at his home at Eldon, Iowa, after an illness of several months following a paralytic stroke. He was about 75 years of age and had attended his regular pastoral duties as long as his health would permit.
Rev. Lute is survived by his wife, four daughters and one son. Three children preceded him in death. His daughter, Mrs. Ray Tracy of Maquoketa, was at his bedside at the time of his death and Mr. Tracy and daughter, Portia left today to attend the funeral, which will be held at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon at the home in Eldon.
