BELLEVUE, Iowa - Catharine C. Callaghan, 84, of Independence, formerly of Bellevue, died Friday, May 4, 2007, at West Village Care Center, Independence, following a long illness.

Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Catholic Church, Independence, where friends may call after 9 a.m. Wednesday.

Burial of the cremated remains will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Bellevue. The Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory, Independence, is in charge of arrangement
