Services for Rita J. Schulte, 62, of 1102 Jefferson St., Bellevue, will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Church, Bellevue. Burial will be in the church cemetery. (rest of paragraph omitted.

Mrs. Schulte was a homemaker.

She was born June 22, 1926, in Bellevue, daughter of John and Josephine (Hager) Abeln. She died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 1989, at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.

She married Henry Schulte April 12, 1948 in Bellevue; he died June 9, 1985.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church; and the Bellevue American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

Surviving are two sons, Gregory of Bellevue and Gary of Dubuque, her mother of Bellevue; and three sisters, Catherine Yoerger of Maquoketa, Mrs. Clarence (Evelyn) Yoerger of Bellevue and Mrs. Vincent (Betty) Goedert of Dubuque.
