Bellevue, Iowa

John D. Koppes, 34, of Rt. 3 Bellevue died Sunday in Wright Memorial Hospital, Trenton, Mo., as a result of a motorcycle accident.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church here with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Gallagher Funeral Home where the Scripture Wake Service will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Surviving are his wife, Sue; two sons, John and David and a daughter, Gina, all at home; his mother, Mrs. Florence Koppes of Bellevue; three brothers, Dorrence of Phoenix, Ariz., Russell of Issaquah, Wash., and Ronald of Bellevue, and six sisters, Mrs. Eugene (Delores) Ernst and Joyce Eggers, both of Bellevue, Mrs. Carl (Joan) Dickerson of Lavonia, Mich., Mrs. Wayne (Marilyn) Kratz of Dubuque, Mrs. Fred (Vera) Patterson of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Carl (Carol) Heying of Epworth, Ia.
