Leo N. Gerlach
Springbrook, Iowa

Leo N. Gerlach, 71, of Springbrook died Sunday in Jackson County Public Hospital, Maquoketa, Ia.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church here, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Gallagher Funeral Home at Bellevue, Ia. where the Scripture Wake Service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, and from 9:30 am. Tuesday until time of services at the church.

Surviving are his wife, Hilda; six sons, Donald and Orville, both of Andrew, Ia., Arnold of Springbrook, Roger of Bellevue, Cletus of Maquoketa and Richard of Cedar Rapids, Ia.; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Rita) Lee of Lomita, Calif., and Mrs. Delbert (Mary) Banowetz of Preston, Ia.; 20 grandchildren; two brothers, Joseph and William, both of Bellevue, and three sisters, Anna Gerlach of Montfort, Wis., Mrs. Fred (Regina) Eskelsen of Bellevue and Mrs. Albert (Rose) Mussman of Preston, Ia.

Note:
Leo Nicholas Gerlach the son of William Gerlach and Anna Feltes married Hilda B. Homan May 1934 in Jackson County IA. Her parents John B. Homan and Catherine Clasen.
