LaMotte, IowaDelbert P. Haxmeier 68, of 210 North Main, LaMotte, died Thursday evening, March 4, 1999 at home after a battle with cancer.
Services: Monday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in LaMotte. Burial will be in church cemetery, military rites accorded.
Mr. Haxmeier worked for Jackson County road maintenance, retiring in 1993.
He was born on Feb. 12, 1931, in Bellevue, son of Paul and Florence (Lampe) Haxmeier. He married Brenda Smothers on Sept. 28, 1963 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Dubuque.
