Bellevue, Iowa

Funeral services for George Ilg, 83, who died Saturday night after a year's illness, will be held at St. Joseph's church Tuesday morning, with the Rev. J. E. Linkenmeyer, pastor, celebrating the requiem mass. Burial will be in St. Joseph's cemetery.

Mr. Ilg was born in Germany in 1862, and came to the United States in 1883, settling in Jackson county, where, on Nov. 21, 1889, he was married to Anna Wagner. The home was made on a farm until 1925, when they retired to Bellevue.

He is survived by his wife and four sons, Theodore Ilg, Woodstock, IA, Edward Ilg, Lost Nation, IA, Peter Ilg, Danville, IL, and Joseph Ilg, Bellevue, IA.
