FORMER RESIDENT DEAD

The remains of Mrs. Jennie Covell, a former resident of Maquoketa, arrived here last evening from Lake City, Minnesota. Mrs. Covell suffered a stroke of paralysis and passed away Friday evening.

The body was accompanied here by her daughter, Mrs. Catherine Covell-Bailey of Lake City. One son, Ross Covell of Minneapolis also survives.

The body was taken to the Mrs. Fannie Goodenow home and a short prayer will be held this morning and interment will be made in Mt. Hope Cemetery. The Covell family were residents of this city for many years residing on Matteson Avenue.
