Bertie Davis was born at Canton, Iowa, December 8, 1881 and died at Indianapolis, Indiana, November 14 1919, aged 37 years, 11 months and 6 days. On December 24, 1899, she was united in marriage to LeRoy Bickford. To this union three children were born, Margretta, Hudson, and LeRoy. On October 19, 1912, she was married to Roy C. DeLong. One daughter, Chetina Francis, was born to them. The remains were brought here Saturday and taken to the home of her aunt, Mrs. N.. L. Sutton. Prayer was given at the Sutton home on Sunday afternoon, followed by funeral services at the Canton church, Rev. C. O. Parks officiating. Burial was made in the Canton cemetery.
