James Eppingham of LaMotte, committed suicide, Sunday April 8, by hanging himself to the trestle work on a culvert on the narrow gauge road near LaMotte. For some time he has been In
ill health, which Is given as the probable cause of the rash act. The body was seen hanging from the trestle by some parties who were on their way to church and they at once notified the coroner who had it removed, and after an inquest interred. The deceased was about 60 years old, unmarried and a carpenter by trade. He has been a resident of LaMotte for fifteen years and was of good reputation, and was respected by all.
