On Friday, September 28th, the remains of Bridget Ward, daughter of John Ward, and sister of Miss Annie, postmistress of Alma, was laid to rest in the St. Patrick's church cemetery, Garry Owen, Butler township. The deceased was a young woman of fine nature, lighthearted and pleasant companion. Her untimely death brought sorrow and regret to her family and acquaintances.
