N. W. Potter Dead

N. W. Potter was born in Iowa on Feb. 2, 1859 and after a protracted illness died at Mercy hospital at Anamosa, Iowa, Dec. 23, 1921, aged 62 years, 10 months and 21 days. He was united in marriage to Miss Annie Frye of Highland, Wisc., Aug. 30, 1890. To this union, 12 children were born, vis; Mrs. Carl Valtz and Mrs. Carl Mueller, Dubuque; Mrs. Raymond Bickford and Mrs. Will Moore of canton, Ia.; Pete, Maude, Edith, Jim, George, Louis and Raymond at home. Also by a former marriage he was the father of Mrs. Geo. Wagner of Mobridge, S. D., Mrs. Henry Becker and Mrs. T.W. Schumaker all of Maquoketa, Iowa, all of whom, together with the wife and other relatives, mourn his depature.

The body came to Maquketa Saturday morning and on Sunday, December 25, at 10 a.m., funeral services were held at the Buchner chapel and burial in Hickory grove cemetery. Rev. D. F. Boomershine officating.
