The community was shocked by the sudden death of Mrs. J. B. Wise, Friday afternoon. She has been in excellent health up to this time but was affected with dizziness while returning from a walk in the woods with her youngest son and died instantly. Margaret Simpson was born on Dec. 26, 1869. She was united in marriage with J. B. Wise Nov. 5, 1888, and her death on March 29, 1918, occurred at the age of 48 years and 3 months. She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, J. B. Wise, four sons and three daughters, her aged mother, Mrs. Robert Simpson, a sister, Mrs. Minnie Smith, and a brother Clifford Simpson. The funeral was held at the home Monday afternoon and was largely attended by a host of relatives and friends.
