PETER F. KROEGER

Peter Frank Kroeger, 79, of Sabula, died at 5:45 a.m. today in his home after two years' failing health. Friends may call after 7 tonight at the Allen funeral home.

Services are planned at 2 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Rev. Phillip Mueller, Calvary Lutheran pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Center Grove cemetery near Ten-Mile house northwest of Clinton.

Mr. Kroeger was born June 29, 1875, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, to the late Claus and Anna Kroeger. He came to this country in 1905. On March 3, 1914, he was married to Alvina Goodemann and they spent their entire married life at Ten-Mile house northwest of Clinton until two years ago, when they retired and moved to Sabula. He was a painter by trade and of the Lutheran faith.

Surviving are the widow; one son, Lloyd C. of Sabula; two daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Violet) Ullrich, Fort Worth, Texas, and Mrs. Raymond (Margaret) Ullrich, Clinton; five grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Anna Bott, Clinton; several nieces and nephews.

Three sisters and a brother also preceded him in death.
