Barbara M. Marchiando, 81, died Saturday, April 11, 1998, in her home after a sudden illness. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, by the Rev. Dennis Cain. Burial: Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Haylock-O'Hara & Lahey Funeral Home, Maquoketa, where a vigil service will be held at 7 p.m.

Survivors include a daughter, Joy Marchiando of Maquoketa, and two sons, Joseph of Aurora and Jay of Germantown, Md.
