Rosella A. Sullivan
(September 6, 1911 - October 12, 2010)

Rosella A. Sullivan, 99, of Bellevue, died Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at Mill Valley Care Center, Bellevue.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, October 15, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bellevue. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation for Rosella will be held from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Bellevue and again Friday morning after 9:00 until procession to the church.

Rosella was born September 6, 1911 in Spragueville, Iowa, the daughter of John and Mary (Helmle) Tebbe. She married Vincent Sullivan on October 16, 1934 in Springbrook, he passed away May 24, 1985.

She was a homemaker, who also enjoyed helping her husband with their farm in Spragueville for over 45 years. Together they retired in 1964 and moved to Bellevue. She was a devoted member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was honest, hard working, and loving. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, baking and spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed.

Those left to honor her memory include her son, Bernard (Beverly), of Bellevue; three daughters, JoAnn (Jack) Messerich, of Preston, LaVonne (Dale) Lehmkuhl, of Camanche, and Karen (Robert) Skoff, of Charlotte; 30 grandchildren; 80 great grandchildren; and 28 great great grandchildren; three sisters, Regina Clasen, Lavita Budde, and Rosemary Dondlinger; a brother, Sylvester; and two daughters in-law, Norine Hoxmeier and Joan Sullivan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband; three son's, Harlan, Dale and Lester; and six brothers, Alfred, Harold, Richard, Elmer, John and Oliver; and a sister, Armella Clasen; and five grandchildren.

The Family would like to give a special thanks to Mill Valley and Hospice of Jackson County for their care and compassion shown to Rosella.
