Marla J. Daniels, 47, of Miles, died Friday, May 7, 2010 at Finley Hospital in Dubuque.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, May 11, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bellevue. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation for Marla will be held from 3:00 - 7:00 pm. Monday evening at the Kingery Funeral Home and again Tuesday morning after 9:30 until procession to the church. There will be a family scripture service Monday, from 2:30 until 3:00 also at the funeral home.

Marla was born October 15, 1962 in Bellevue, Iowa, the daughter of Glenn and Marcy (Kilburg) Roling. She married Kevin R. Daniels on May 28, 1983 in Bellevue.

Marla was self employed as a hairdresser for many years. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend to many. She was positive, caring, giving, and always putting others first. Marla enjoyed the simple things in life, such as baking, crafts, mushroom hunting, attending her son's sporting events, coffee, and her candle business. Family was extremely important to her. She will be deeply missed by all.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, of 26 years, Kevin Daniels, of Miles; three children at home, Aaron, Austin and Arik Daniels ; Her mother Marcy Roling, of Bellevue; two sisters, Donna Noonan, of Dubuque and Joan (Robert) Smith, of Hanover, Illinois; and a brother, Terry (Lori) Roling, of Bellevue.

She was preceded in death by her father.
