Deceased Name: Rosella C. Manderscheid

LA MOTTE, Iowa - Rosella C. Manderscheid, 79, of La Motte, died Saturday afternoon, July 2, 2005, at home.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, La Motte, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Kingery Funeral Home, Bellevue. Friends also may call after 9:30 a.m. Wed-nesday at the church.

She was born on Aug. 8, 1925, in Tetes des Mort Township, daughter of Paul and Florence (Lampe) Haxmeier. She married John Manderscheid on May 7, 1946, in St. Donatus.

She had worked at Ensign Coil Co. in Bellevue and had helped her husband at the Manderscheid Tap in La Motte.

She enjoyed camping, crossword puzzles, quilting, watching baseball games on TV and going to her grandchildren's sporting events.

Rosella was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

Surviving are her husband, John; two sons, Dale (Carol) Manderscheid, of La Motte, and Tim (Kim) Manderscheid, of Burlington; four daughters, Jane (Mike) Wittman, of Ankeny, Patricia (Gary) Bonifas and Brenda (Paul) Pankowski, both of La Motte, and Wanda (Randy Kingery) Huss, of Bellevue; 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Leona (Mark) Till, of La Motte; and two brothers, Jim (LaVon) Haxmeier and Vern (Mary Ann) Haxmeier, both of La Motte.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Bernice Keil and Dolly Till; and three brothers, Orville, Ralph and Delbert Haxmeier.

The family requests no flowers.
