WALTER DUTTON, IRON HILL FARMER,
DIES IN HOSPITAL

December 5, 1958Walter Dutton, prominent Jackson county farmer died Monday in the Jackson County Public hospital. Dutton, 86, had been in failing health for some time.
Funeral was held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Carson funeral home. The Rev. M. H. Nothdurft, pastor of the Maquoketa Methodist church, officiated and burial was made in the Iron Hill cemetery.
Mr. Dutton was born June 6, 1872, in Iron Hill, son of Ezra and Adie Sommers Dutton. On Dec. 26, 1900, he married May Bowling at Iron Hill.
His parents, three children, two brothers, and two sisters preceded him in death.
