Deceased Name: Adelle M. Weinschenk

BELLEVUE, Iowa - Adelle M. Weinschenk, 78, of 302 S. Fourth St., Bellevue, died Wednesday morning, June 26, 2002, at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque.

Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Bellevue, with the Rev. Stephen Meyer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Kingery Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Bellevue.

She was born on Sept. 25, 1923, in Bellevue, daughter of Joseph and Margaret Even Victor. She married Norbert J. Weinschenk on Nov. 16, 1943, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Bellevue.

She worked at Ensign Coil Co. in Bellevue for many years.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Church and enjoyed quilting, cooking for her family, playing cards, watching the Cubs and especially enjoyed her grandchildren.

Surviving are a son, Dennis (Jane) Weinschenk, of Bellevue; a daughter, Doris (Randall) Peters, of Mayville, Wis.; four grandchildren, Jayden and Brooklynn Weinschenk and Chad and Abby Peters; a brother, Cletus (Arlene) Victor, of Bellevue; two sisters, Corrine Schulte, of Bellevue, and Armella (Paul) Kueter, of Prairie du Chien, Wis.; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert, on Jan. 21, 2002.
