Raymond A. Duhme age 89 of Maquoketa Iowa and formerly of Otter Creek Iowa died on Sunday July 172005.0 at Briarwood Care Center in Maquoketa Iowa.

A Celebration of His Life will be held at 10:30 A.M. Thursday July 212005.0 from the Carson & Son Funeral And Cremation Services in Maquoketa Iowa with Chaplain/Celebrant Rev. Ruth Ann Scott of Carson & Son Funeral And Cremation Services in Maquoketa officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 P.M. on Wednesday July 202005.0 from the Carson & Son Funeral And Cremation Services in Maquoketa Iowa. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery Maquoketa Iowa.

Raymond A. Duhme was born on April 18 1916 in Maquoketa Iowa to Fred Duhme and Mammie Mary (Campbell) Duhme. He married Arlene A. Jessen on August 15 1944 in Maquoketa Iowa. She preceded him in death on June 19 1998.

Raymond had farmed in the Otter Creek area for many years retiring in 1994. He enjoyed fishing and farming.

Raymond is survived by: children- Ronald(April) Duhme of Otter Creek IA & Allan Duhme of IL; 1 daughter-in-law- Phyllis Duhme of Preston IA; 10 grandchildren 3 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers- Albert(Margaret) Duhme of Maquoketa IA Melvin(Jean) Duhme of Otter Creek IA Kenny Duhme of Maquoketa IA & Chester Duhme of Yvonne ARK; & 2 sisters- Arlene Tagmire of Morristown MN & Helen Spratt of Oelwein IA. He was preceded in death by his parents his wife 2 infant daughters & 1 brother- Elmer & 1 sister- Thelma.

A Raymond A. Duhme Memorial Fund has been established.
