W. H. Koch, an aged and highly respected citizen of Miles, died at his home in that city Wednesday morning after a lingering illness. Deceased was a pioneer resident of that vicinity for many years and accumulated a very extensive farming interest, owning some of the best farms of that vicinity which he divided among his children and retired to a quiet life in a beautiful home in Miles some time ago. He was highly respected by all who knew him and his death is mourned by the community at large. The funeral will occur Friday afternoon from the M. E. church at Miles.—Preston Times.
