Mrs. Wm. Rash.

Cathryn Kelly, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Kelly was born at Spragueville, Iowa, April 1, 1879, and grew to young womanhood at that place. She was married to William Rash in January, 1906. Four children three girls and one boy were born to this union of whom three survive, two girls and one boy. After a short illness she passed away at her home in the first ward on Wednesday, Feb. 18, aged 40 years, 10 months and 19 days.

Besides the sorrowing husband and children, three brothers, John, Timothy and Thomas and one sister, Mrs. William Becker all of Maquoketa survive her departure.

Funeral services were held from the Buchner chapel on Saturday at 2 p.m. Feb. 21, and burial in Mt. Hope cemetery. Rev. D. F. Boomershine officiating.
