Mrs. Howard Anderson of Mill Rock received word that her brother, Burdette Nary, was killed in action in France about a month ago. This young soldier had been in France some time having spent July 4, 1917 there. He was wounded last Spring but recovered and again went to the front where his young life was sacrificed for world freedom.
