Elizabeth Kilburg Rites are Held at Springbrook

Mrs. Elizabeth Kilburg, 80, a Springbrook native and Jackson county resident all her life, died at 9 a.m. Monday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Rueben Feller, north of here. She had been seriously ill for a week.

The Rev. William Goettzinger of St. John’s Catholic church celebrated the requiem mass at 9 a.m. Monday in S. S. Peter and Paul’s church, Springbrook.

Elizabeth Portz was born Dec. 29, 1867, the daughter of John and Mary Portz. She leaves 8 children, Dominic, Peter, John, Nick, Anthony, Mrs. Margaret Schaeffer, Mrs. Anna Feller and Mrs. Mary Feller; and a brother, John R. Portz. Her husband and two children preceded her.
