Harry Thomas Buried Here Wednesday

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock in the Harrison Funeral Home for Harry Thomas, 74, who died at his home here Sunday following a short illness. The Rev. C. Edward Holyoke officiated. Burial was made in Mt. Hope cemetery. Graveside rites were conducted by members of the I. O. O. F. Lodge of which order he had been a member for over 40 years.

Harry Thomas, son of Samuel and Elizabeth Thomas, was born in Truro, Cornwall, England, June 25, 1869.

Harry, a loving devoted brother, leaves to mourn his loss, his sisters, Annie and Nell at home; his brother, Sam, of this city; sisters, Mrs. Mary Fairbrother of Chicago, Ill., and Mrs. Harry Anderson of Marshalltown; a foster brother, Charles Nichols of Rock Island, Illinois.

His wife died in Chicago in 1923, and one brother, Will, of this city, died in 1913.

He was also a member of the Knights of Pythias Lodge of Greeneburg, Pa.
