ANOTHER ONE OF JACKSON COUNTY'S BOYS LAID TO REST

Wiley L. Branscomb, oldest son of the late William and Melissa Banscomb of this city, passed away. He was born in Jackson county, Fairfield township, February 17, 1865. In the year of 1894 he was united in marriage to Mary J. Bingerman, and to this union one son, Isaac W., was born who was bereft of a loving mother at the age of ten years. A few years later Mr. Branscomb remarried and leaves to mourn the loss of a loving husband and father his young wife and baby boy, six months old, and Isaac W., twenty years old, four sisters and three brothers; Walter E. of Canton, Ohio, Samuel W. of Clinton, William G. of Fortuna, Calif., Ida Nims, Anna Gabel, Jennie Hicks and Mary Schocker all of Maquoketa.

Deceased was laid to rest in the cemetery at Rumbauer, Mo., by the side of his deceased wife who passed away ten years ago.
