FLORENCE DOYLE

Florence Doyle, 72, Sabula, died Sunday at Jane Lamb Hospital’s extended care facility.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a. m., Thursday, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, with the Rev. William Greener officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 tp 9 p.m. Wednesday, with a wake service at 8 p.m. at Law Jones Funeral Home, Sabula.

She was born Jan. 12, 1904, in Sabula, to Hugh and Rachel Lehman Doyle.

She taught in rural Sabula area schools for 50 years, and taught in the elementary grades at St. Bonifas School in Clinton several years.

She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church and for many years she took care of cleaning and decorating the church.

She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Henry (Esther) Tillis, Sabula.

She was preceded in death by six sisters and one brother.
