Claus Bannick died at his home near this place Monday, February 20th. Though not a confirmed invalid, Mr. Bannick was not a strong man and had been ailing for four years. He was confined to his bed last Thursday by a stroke of paralysis. It was followed by one Sunday morning, one again in the afternoon and the last causing his death Monday at twelve o’clock. The deceased was thirty-one years of age and leaves a wife and little daughter to mourn his loss.
