Jackson Sentinel, March 24, 1881.

We sympathize deeply with our friend, M. Majors, of Austin, Minnesota, who has quite lately lost his daughter Edith. We are informed her body will be brought here today or tomorrow for interment. Her age was about 15 years. She was an amiable, bright intelligent young lady and was greatly beloved by her many friends and acquaintances.

Miss Edith, daughter of M. Majors, died at the first of this week, at their new home, Austin, Minnesota, so says a telegram received by a friend in this city. Mr. Majors is expected to arrive here today with remains of his daughter for interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
