Lightning Kills Bryant Man

Lightning instantly killed Frank Matthiesen, aged 27 years, about four o’clock Saturday afternoon, June 14, while the young man was standing under a tree on the Otto Roenfeldt farm near Bryant during a thunderstorm. Mr. Roenfeldt and son were under another tree nearby and witnessed the death of the young man, but suffered no injury.
