DROPS DEAD

Amos Phelps, an old resident of this city, was found dead Saturday in an outhouse at the residence of his son-in-law, Isaac McPeak, about four miles north of town. He was evidently stricken down with heart disease without a moment’s warning and passed away at the age of 82 years. He was for many years a resident of the first ward, but had for the past few years been living with Mr. McPeak. He was a quiet going, kind hearted old gentlemen with few enemies. The funeral took place from the house on Monday.
