Asher Edgerton, an old settler and respected citizen, died at his home near Hanover, Ill., last Monday morning of pneumonia, aged about 75 years. Mr. Edgerton and his family had resided in this city for about one year up to March the 1st when they removed to their farm on the opposite side of the river, and where the deceased was taken sick three weeks ago.
