Clifford Henry Smola-

Clifford Henry, fourth son of John and Mary Smola, was born near Monmouth, July 15, 1903 and died April 9th, 1920., aged 16 years, 8 months and 25 days. He had a cheerful happy disposition, and at the sanitorium where he has been for the last 9 months, they called him their “Sunshine” patient. He bore his suffering uncomplainingly and always had a smile for everyone. He leaves to mourn, his mother, three brothers, Harold, Lloyd and Johnie, his two aged grandfathers and many other relatives, his father and a brother having preceded him to the land of rest. The funeral was held from the M. E. Church Saturday forenoon, Rev. C. O. Parks officiating. The pall bearers were all his former school mates. Interment was in the Monmouth cemetery.
