DIED-

ANDERSON-
At his home, four miles northwest of Maquoketa, Joseph A. Anderson, of heart disease, aged 65 years. Another old settler has crossed the river. Mr. Anderson was a native of Kentucky and settled in the timber when it was a wilderness. By industry and economy he accumulated a nice property. In later years he engaged in fruit culture, in which he was very successful. He leaves a wife and a number of children, all grown and married. Mr. Anderson was highly esteemed by a large circle of friends.
