HICKSON-

At her home in Otter Creek township, May 3, 1893, Mrs. Jas. Hickson, after a lingering illness of some weeks, aged about 68 years.

Married to Jas. Hickson at Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1847. They came to Jackson county in 1854, opening and improving in Otter Creek township, one of the largest and finest farms in all the county. Deceased was an estimable and hospitable woman, the mother of a large family of children, to whom she was much devoted. The funeral occurred Friday morning from St. Lawrence church, Father Clabbe officiating, assisted by the Rev. Fathers Kelly of Garry Owen and Roach of Cascade. A large number of friends and relatives were present to pay last respects and extend sympathy to a bereaved husband and children.
