DIED
TROUT-
Mary Trout , nee Miesse, was born December 7, 1804, in Berks County, Pennsylvania, and died with a blessed hope of immortality, May 5th, 1893, at Maquoketa, Iowa, aged 88 years and 5 months. She was converted and joined the Christian church when she was 16 years old, and has been a member of the U. B. church and worked with other Christian denominations faithfully to the end. She had no sickness, but died of old age. Her death was triumphant, and no doubt she is now rejoicing with her Saviour in glory. October 19th, 1822, she was united in holy wedlock with John Trout, who preceded her to the spirit world. She leaves six children (four sons and two daughters). Her children are Frank, Thomas and Amelia now living in Maquoketa: George and William, now living in Wamego, Kansas, and Mrs. Gebert at Sioux Falls, S. D. Funeral services were conducted by F. W. Koenig, pastor of the German Evangelical church, on Sunday May 7th at 2 o’clock p.m. May God console the bereft and help them to meet their mother in the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ.
