Evelyn Clark

Services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 17, at Carson Funeral Home for Evelyn N. Clark, 72, Zwingle. She died Monday , May 14, at Mercy Hospital, Dubuque.

The Rev. Harold Butz, son-in-law of the deceased, of Des Moines, officiated. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery, Maquoketa.

She was born June 10, 1911 in Preston to Henry and Martha Hageman People. On March 5, 1932, she married Clayton Clark in Preston. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include five daughters, two sons, 23 grandchildren; one step grandchild; four great grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Martha Peoples of Maquoketa, two sisters. Her father, husband, one son and one grandchild preceded her in death.
