Mrs. Bertha Werden

Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Werden, 87, life-long Maquoketan, will be held Wednesday, Feb. 26, at 1:30 p.m. at the Haylock-O’Hara Funeral Home, Maquoketa. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends may call after 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, at the Haylock-O’Hara Funeral Home.

Mrs. Werden died Monday morning, Feb. 24, at the Jackson County Public Hospital.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Minnie Bock of Maquoketa and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two husbands.
