Imo A. Jackson, 72, of rural Bellevue, died Thursday, Aug. 9, at Victoria General Hospital in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bellevue. A rosary service was held the same day at 8 p.m. at Kingery-Gallagher Funeral Home, Bellevue. The Very Rev. Cletus J. Hawes and the Rev. John Purtell officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mr. Jackson was born May 10, 1912 in Bellevue to Ross and Kathryn Steine Jackson. He married Eleanor Laffey April 11, 1934 in Springbrook. He married Marcella Kurth Oct. 27, 1979 in Green Island.
