Funeral services for Ruth Lindblad, 62 of Maquoketa, were held Monday, Jan. 20, at 1:30 p.m. at the Haylock-O’Hara Funeral Home. The reverend Lawrence Beals of the Maquoketa United Methodist Church officiated. Committal services will be today, Tuesday, Jan. 21, at 3 p.m. in Dunlap.

Mrs. Lindblad died Saturday, Jan. 18, at University Hospitals in Iowa City.

She was born Aug. 30, 1912 in Dunlap to Art and Rose Rogers Dunham. On Sept. 10, 1933 she married Clifford Lindblad at Spirit Lake. For about 20 years she was a medical records librarian at the Jackson County Public Hospital. She was also a member of the Maple Leaf Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Ron (Barbara) Viet, Maquoketa; one son, Dr. Richard Lindblad, Rockville, Md.; seven grandchildren and one brother, Kenneth Dunham.
